Biography

Abby Pierrot (Pierre-Oh), is a songwriter and alternative pop artist from Vancouver, BC. Influenced by artists like Lana Del Rey and Lorde, Pierrot strives to merge the whimsy of self-discovery with the dark brooding woes of adolescence. She is known for her witty lyricism and dark, synth-heavy brand of pop music.

In tandem with producer Jordan Klassen (Dear Rouge, The Tourist Company), Pierrot taps into her melancholy on her latest single “Toronto” (August 2024). Written after a particularly tumultuous weekend in which she consumed far too much wine for a woman of her size, the track describes wanderlust, escapism, and yearning over a gentle synth and trap-inspired hi-hats.

Off stage, Abby is a thrift enthusiast with a passion for obscure history. She often spends her free time exploring local thrift stores or browsing the depths of Wikipedia.
